It started with a simple question:
“Why is it so hard for foreigners to find fun, traditional Korean activities?”

As a Swiss living in Korea and in love with its culture since 2009 — from books to K-dramas to temple rooftops — our founder Stéphanie kept searching for ways to experience it all up close. And guess what? So are many others.

But truthfully? It’s not that easy. And she kept hearing the same thing over and over.

Information is scattered. Language and payment systems get in the way. And so many incredible artisans and creators remain invisible online. It kept her thinking that… maybe she could pitch in.

So, she built Krafty Korea: a platform to bridge that gap.
A place where anyone curious about Korea’s cultural soul can book workshops, meet real artisans, and get their hands (and hearts) involved in something meaningful.

At Krafty Korea, we believe in slowing down, learning with our hands, and connecting across languages and borders through tradition. Whether you’re traveling through Seoul, living here long-term, or dreaming from abroad; we help you discover and experience Korea’s rich craft heritage.

What We Do

• For explorers: Book authentic workshops and experiences with Korean artisans [pottery, knots, painting, calligraphy, and more].

• For artisans: We support your work with digital tools, marketing, and global exposure, so you can focus on your craft.

• For Swiss culture lovers: We organize themed group trips from Romandie to Korea, filled with handmade memories.

Our goal? Help 20+ artisans reach global audiences in our first year. Host our launch event. Grow our community. And slowly build the most beautiful home for traditional crafts online.
